Sonya has been passionately involved in ministry to women for 30 years. Her love and transparent approach of teaching God’s word challenges women to learn the word of God for themselves. She has served as Leadership Development & Vision Coordinator in Mississippi, Spiritual Life Vice President in Japan, and Women’s Ministry Leader in Georgia.

Sonya is married to Fred and they have three adult sons. Some of her greatest joys are going on retreat adventures with her grandchildren, traveling, and snacking on gourmet cookies dipped in hot cocoa or coffee.
